People who read early manuscripts and then the final version have said how much better the final version was. I have humbly and graciously credited you for that evolution!Richard Martin – author of This Too Will Pass
Reducing a manuscript by half doesn’t happen without difficulty. When you have laboured on your story, every word feels precious. An editor can sometimes feel like the enemy as they hack and stab at your manuscript! But I think it’s fair to say that having discussed all of the changes I made with him, Richard freely admitted, the edited manuscript made for a much better book. The story was leaner and tighter, and as result, it packed a more powerful punch.
Reviewers said it was hard to put down, and Rachel Kelly, ambassador for Sane and Rethink Mental Illness, and author of the Sunday Times bestseller Black Rainbow called it ‘A revelatory read.’ She said ‘This Too Will Pass should be required reading for anyone who wishes to understand anxiety.’
This Too Will Pass was published by Trigger in 2018.
